clean room, perfect location, decent pool

The ice machine's out of order! ! Parking fees are exorbitant! It’s not clear why guests should pay so much for basic amenities! Honestly, for the price, better maintenance would be ideal!

The room was clean, and the beds were surprisingly comfortable! I liked that it was just a short walk to downtown, but the room felt a bit snug. Heard some noise from the hallway and other rooms, which was kind of annoying. But overall, it did the job for a few nights.

The location of this hotel truly shines, right in the heart of downtown. Easy walking distance to great restaurants and attractions such as the Capitol. I appreciated the friendly staff, too. they were eager to assist and gave excellent local dining recommendations. However, I faced a few issues. The cleanliness of my room left much to be desired. The shower had mold, and I noticed stains on the bed sheets. Maintenance seemed slow on resolving my concerns about the toilet seat not being secured. I also had a frustrating experience with the key cards. they wouldn’t work, and I needed to get them reset multiple times. Overall, some serious upgrades in cleanliness and room upkeep are necessary.

Great location near attractions. Room cleanliness needs improvement, found dust and stains. Valet parking fee is high at $50.

Plus, the breakfast spread wasn't half bad. at least we had something to fuel our Austin adventures. And shoutout to the friendly housekeepers—some good vibes amidst the chaos!

But dang, that first room was a moldy nightmare, like a horror flick waiting to happen! We switched rooms but still settled for a vibe that didn’t shine like it should have. Let the pics do the talking for the sketchy showers and sticky floors, bless!
